NKU is dedicated to building a state-of-the-art health innovations center focused on preparing the next generation of allied health and psychology professionals to meet the challenges of a 21st century healthcare workplace. Through an innovative, "living" laboratory, faculty and students will unlock the answers to consumer decision-making that simulates the entire healthy-living, healthy-community continuum.
Through cutting-edge applied research, NKU intends to get at the very heart of chronic illness management, transitions in healthcare, wellness and other consumer driven healthcare related issues. This method delivers on building healthy communities, savings of Kentucky tax dollars, lowering the bottom line costs for employers, and reducing medical costs for individuals.
